Yes, all these poor gentlemen need is a little self-respect. Their thuggish actions can be attributed to their psychologies (shaped, no doubt, by circumstance), and perhaps to the morally relativist society in which they live. If only we could crack down on moral relativism, and if only these poor guys had a little more self-respect.
